Dr.Ceuracle's Pro Balance line is the brand's core "daily use for sensitive skin" range. The Soothing Cleansing Foam is the cleanser step in that line: a low-pH (around 5.5), sulfate-free foam with centella, panthenol, and the brand's derma-pharmacy positioning. 150ml at $49 is pharmacy-tier pricing, which the packaging and formulation back up. Compare to Cerave Foaming Cleanser or La Roche-Posay Toleriane: similar philosophy, Korean formulation standards.
Most "sensitive skin cleansers" in the Korean market run either too mild (no real cleansing, just a rinse) or too aggressive (sulfates hidden under soothing claims). Dr.Ceuracle's version is properly balanced: a clean gentle cleanse that removes sebum and SPF without stripping. It's the cleanser you replace your harsh-foaming product with when you realize your "dry skin" is actually stripped skin.
Sulfate-free surfactants lift away sebum and daily surface debris. Centella asiatica and panthenol calm the skin during cleanse, supporting barrier recovery. Low pH (approximately 5.5) preserves the skin's natural acid mantle and microbiome. The foam is rich but rinses clean, leaving the skin soft and balanced, not squeaky.
Dispense a pea-sized amount onto damp hands, lather briefly, massage onto damp face for 30 to 45 seconds, rinse with lukewarm water. Use AM and/or PM. Safe as a single cleanse on non-makeup days. For SPF or makeup days, use as a second cleanse after oil cleansing.
Different positioning. Cerave is budget-tier derma-clean. La Roche-Posay is mid-tier. Dr.Ceuracle is Korean pharmacy-tier with slightly more luxurious feel and centella-forward ingredients. For ceramide focus, Cerave. For centella focus, Dr.Ceuracle.
Yes, pH 5.5 matches skin's natural acid mantle. Most cheap cleansers run 7 to 9 pH, which strips and sensitizes. The pH alone makes this a real upgrade for barrier-compromised skin.
Not heavy chemical sunscreens in a single cleanse. Use it as the second cleanse after an oil cleanser for SPF and makeup days.
Yes. Twice daily is safe on most skin types.
